Benjamin Filippone is a choral conductor, composer/arranger, and vocalist in the Pittsburgh area. He is currently a conducting assistant for the Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh and bass faculty for the Jr.

Mendelssohn Choir, music director and conductor of the Mon Yough Community Singers, and the interim choral director at the First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, PA. He is a member of the Pittsburgh Camerata, teaches studio voice locally, and is the music director and founder of Otto Voci, a professional eight-voice a cappella ensemble. Mr. Filippone has taught high school choir and piano in Maryland and Virginia and served as vocal director for musical productions, and is a former music instructor at the Chatham Music and Arts Camp. He performed the role of Ben in The Telephone by Gian Carlo Menotti and recitals at the Maiski Opera Festival in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria. He holds a BA in music education from Grove City College, a MM in vocal performance from Duquesne University, and has started doctoral work in choral conducting with a minor in music theory at the University of Arizona.
