The annual federation delegatin meeting was held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at the Arena Restaurant in Bedford, PA. Mon Yough was represented by Ken Obusek and Judi Wooddy. The main topics of discussion were the Judge's Screen and bylaws for numbers of people per section.

 

As a result of much discussion it was decided to keep the judges unscreened for another year. Many 'regulations' were put into place regarding the judges for 2010. It it the feeling of your delagates we may go through the full rotation of chorus' (Altoona and Mon Yough) before a final decision is made.

 

Also, Lebanon has asked the bylaws requiring 10 members in each category be set aside for this year as he has 8 men who really want to sing and want to compete. He may end up with 10, but wanted to see how the federation felt about htis. A motion was made by Ken to set aside this section of the bylaws for the 2010 competition and approved. It was noted after the vote, this could benefit Mon Yough as well do the the recent drop in membership.
