About Us!
The Mon Yough Community Singers is a non-sectarian group of singers from the
Mon Valley area and surrounding communities. We perform for local civic groups, religious and community organizations and
private events.
We are comprised of singers from all denominations, gender, color, creed and age groups.
Our singing calendar consists of a fall holiday season starting in September and ending at Christmas. We
hold an annual holiday party then take a 4-6 week break. We return in March to begin our Spring / Competition season
which runs thru the end of June. We conclude the year with our summer picnic usually held in July then take a break until
our Fall Season begins again.
Once a year, in June, we travel to different areas of the state to compete in the annual PA United Federation
of Singers Saengerfest singing competition.
